Rather than replace my existing GE card, I am wondering if I can just show up to my local CBP location (landside at ORD T5) and talk to them about it. Or does requesting a replacement card automatically trigger them taking a new picture?

I somewhere above in April or May posted about this— I had a similar issue then. Multiple kiosks in multiple locations didn’t recognize me. I asked an officer it directed me to to take another photo at his desk (not at the kiosk) to add to their system. He did, and I no longer had issues going forward.
