Are you stating that TSA at JFK does allow me to enter T1 and use the LH SEN lounge even though I am departing from T7? If so, that would resolve my issue.
The issue with T1 is likely not the entry, but exit. T1 has only international flights, and every pax exiting the terminal must clear immigration and custom...not sure if there is an exit without CBP interaction.

You might also hesitate when you see the security lines at T1 during evening rush.

T1 LH lounge, if memory serves correct, was average...definitely not worth the trouble clearing security twice, espiecally when we are talking about the two worst terminals at JFK.

That said, I have never had issues using the boarding pass to enter a different terminal. My most recent was at EWR, I entered Terminal C, but was departing from Terminal B.
