FWIW I just applied straight up with the account that I had matched before. I won't be too bummed if I miss out due to the terms because I'm already AA EXP, which helps a fair bit with upgrades already, and p2 should be matched to 100K anyway. I applied hours after the match offer opened up, so perhaps the fact that I haven't been matched yet suggests that I won't be? In any event, if I'm denied or not matched by the end of the month, I'll try the new account thing. Either way, I'll report back with what happens.
