Eurowings hinted on a event about the Dubai flights that they might get A321 XLR or A321 LR as part of the next Lufthansa Airbus order, and hinted that they would be interested in that.
This would allow them to fly more long haul from BER.

I think it would be nice if Eurowings would offer more long haul flights from Berlin.
At the moment Lufthansa does not want a third hub in Germany, so this could be a way Lufthansa Group could offer some long haul flights from BER despite that.
A321 XLR would allow them to do so without a hub in Berlin.
