Kuchitori unmemorable
Men was so so. Missing the simmered mushroom

Then came the next tray.
The problem with this tray I guess is that some are supposed to be hot, and some not.
Yakimono The grilled fish was cold and fishy. The sea urchin just as bad as it was in Sakizuke
Aemono. The simmered beef was cold, not bad if you expect the shinkansen cold bentos.
Gohan and Kounomono pretty standard
Tome-Wan, can't go wrong with soup
Mizumono. The chestnut jelly was rock hard. The seasonal fresh fruit was 2 grapes that were halved. Standard green grapes. Thought I'd at least get a musk melon or kyogo grapes.

It's my 3rd time eating it, and every time I eat it, it gets worst in my opinion. I did it once HND-SIN in Jan, once SIN-NRT Apr, and this time NRT-SIN a few days ago. Maybe you'll have better luck ex-KIX
Yikes, hank you for sharing. Here I was getting my hopes up . I am always a bit suspicious of it out of SIN, but would have thought out of Japan it would be better, proper heating of the individual items requiring it and such by crew aside. This does not sound promising as you tried it HND-SIN and NRT-SIN. I don't think Osaka will be leagues better. I'll have a look at the menus and BTC again and maybe order one Hanakoireki and one BTC dish so the spouse can pick whichever one she likes and I'll eat the less desirable one then .
