I don’t have pics but I have had recent stays (HC Ginza in May and GH Tokyo in Sep) and prefer breakfast at HC Ginza - quality and overall environment. I always prefer a restaurant breakfast (HC) over lounge breakfast (GH) and thought that GH breakfast in lounge was a madhouse. Sure you won’t be able to leisurely hang around after breakfast hour at HC but you can enjoy your breakfast in peace without kids running amuck. Breakfast quality at HC is superior to that at HC with made-to-order eggs, ikura (as you said), and a nice variety of continental stuff. Now if you plan to stick around for evening offerings/cocktail hour then go with GH even with the inferior breakfast. I thought they had a good offering at cocktail hour if you are looking for hot food. I was able to make a light dinner out of it when my toddler was asleep one night. Keep in mind that HC does have self serve beer during happy hour if all you are looking for is a refreshment.
