I have an upcoming flight. Homeairport -> ATL -> LAX -> AKL. 3 legs.
I called and got GUCs applied.
The trip on Delta.com is now showing *5* segments, with the ATL->LAX doubled and the LAX->AKL leg doubled.
LAX->AKL leg is showing the same flight number, twice.
First is showing comfort+ and the second is showing D1, fare class “OK.” I can’t select any seats on any segments anymore. (Same for ATL-LAX but different fare class)
What’s “OK?” Does that mean the GUC is clearing? Do I need to call in to make sure everything is applied properly?
My experience in pretty much the exact situation (flying one-way AKL-LAX-DTW, booked Main Cabin and applied GUCs to get to D1) is that it does mean your GUC is clearing. I ended up showing "double" AKL-LAX segments on my reservation and also could not select seats. I did call in and ask about it, and when the Diamond Line rep didn't really understand what I was talking about I asked to be transferred to the international ticketing desk. I was connected to a wonderful rep who checked it out, agreed that the GUCs had indeed cleared, and pushed through the re-ticketing. If you call, have the GUC numbers that you are using available to read to the ticketing agent - that seemed to help a lot as the ones that had been "assigned" were not correct and probably why the booking had not yet been re-ticketed. It all got straightened out in the end, and I am thrilled to have used 3 GUCs going straight from MC to D1 since there is no PS on those flights. Hoping yours works out as well!
