Darn. I spoke too soon.

There’s some wonkiness in the recent app update — specifically in the “Flights” section of the app when schedule changes happen.

Problem 1: The warning that a scheduled flight time has changed appears only at the top of the “Next trip” section. Even though my “next trip” has no schedule change. (The standard “There is a change to your itinerary affecting one or more of your flight(s)” warning appears on that "next" tab where only one flight appears -- and for me it's a flight with no changes.).

Problem 2: A true glitch in the app. In the list of my “Future trips” on the adjacent tab, my flights are no longer in chronological order! Flights with schedule changes move to the bottom of the list. Really?? How is that helpful?!? (OK. I realize it's not helpful, and it obviously wasn't intentional. But a list of my upcoming flights that are not in date order?!? Just ... please fix this.)

Problem 3: This one is a problem that's not specific to just the app. My two schedule changes that I’m being warned about are totally irrelevant. Why the heck do I receive notifications - in the app and by email - of “important changes to my upcoming flight” with red font and highlighted text when:
⁃ flight number is unchanged
⁃ departure date is unchanged
- departure time is unchanged

⁃ The only thing different is the arrival time … changing to 5 minutes later for one flight, and 4 minutes later for another. (In other words, big, glaring, alarming notifications of ... nothing at all.)

After a few minutes of panic on each of my 'changed' itineraries - trying to figure out what had changed - I realized that, really, nothing had changed. That's simply not useful communication for customers.
