They've been sending me a
separate email titled "your recent AAdvantage Award Redemption" which indicates how many miles were redeemed. They send that shortly after the "Your trip confirmation" email.
They've been sending me both of those emails for award redemptions for quite a few years (at least back to 2018).
Don't they send both of those emails to you also?
