I would have thought that any date after August 30th wouldn't have been too bad considering Summer Holidays end that week in the UK? So I'm quite shocked to hear this, especially since you can't book until 331 days in advanced, so can't imagine really they are at capacity in this regard?
People without school age kids often wait until September to have their holidays!
As do those who may have teens who will be off to university at the end of September but who need to be at home in August to get their exam results and get their places and other admin sorted before one last holiday avec the parents
VS releases a guarenteeed number of award seats on every flight and non school holiday flyers will be just as keen to grab them as soon as they are released as anyone else.
