By "Good old days" do you mean Friday? It seems FAs lowering stress by taking out frustrations on ice is an unavoidable ritual...but I'd rather they vent that anger there than on me.

The RJs yes but all of the mainline I can think of have full/solid bulkheads... Agree it feels cheap and half done.
