The average number of goals in a Kraken game was 6.65. The difference (2/3 of a goal per game) is not insignificant. But average isn't really a very good measure of "middle" for these purposes.

It's also worth noting that they don't actually have to win; just score 5 goals. I seem to remember a 9-8 game against the Kings last year... (though they did win that one!)
