Hoping for help/guidance on how to calculate PQP's. I am flying one way from Bali (dps) to Boston. I could fly SQ to Singapore then UA metal to Boston and earn 5833 PQP in a C fare (that is what UA web page says) . Does it matter my status (I am 1k). or I could fly Gauruda from Bali to Jakarta (econ) and then Emirates to Dubai and then Boston in first class. I cant figure out how many PQP's I would earn flying Emirates. The appeal would be a first class suite (sadly it's only on their 777 planes not the 380- but i havent flown in a suite before) I am currently 1k but will be lucky if I hit Platinum this year by myself. I wll keep a platinum status because my husband is a 2MM but I would not mind getting platinum status so i get a few plus points of my own. Is the suite experience worth it. And can anyone give me an idea on how many PQP's i would earn? TIA
No PQPs/PQFs on EK because they're not *A. You also wouldn't earn redeemable miles on them either, as the EK flights are only eligible for earning when connecting to/from an EK flight to the UA DXB flight.
