Just wondering if my experience is "one off" or if something else is going on... this only started in the past few days, prior I had no problem booking local one-ways in either city location...
I had noticed that in the location details of my local Hertz there was similar language a couple of months ago, but I didn't have any problem booking one-ways from Sacrmento area to SFO. I just made a new one-way booking for next year without problem. Hopefully, it was a one-off for you or as others have suggested based on availability at time of booking, but kind of sounds like they may be introducing the policy. That would be a huge blow to me, as rates at any of the other companies are about double what I can get at Hertz.
