Arrow 3D Alternative to SeatGuru: Need Your Opinion on a Interactive Cabin Viewer with AI

Hey FlyerTalk! Dennis and Antonio here, co-founders at SeatMap.ai.We're currently developing an early-stage project that offers 3D interactive models of airline cabins. Think of it as a "3D SeatGuru" or Google StreetView for airplane cabins, all enhanced by a chatbot that can suggest the best available seats on a particular plane.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on this concept, and we're eager to collect any feedback you may have. Would you find this to be a useful travel tool? Currently, we have 9 models featuring business and first-class cabins from airlines including AA, BA, CA, CI, DL, EY, LH, QR, and SK for you to explore. Please bear with us as we continue to work on this—loading times in the current viewer may be on the longer side, and features are still limited. The chatbot is still in the integration stage, so a placeholder is in place for now.

Feel free to explore our site at seatmap.ai. If you have any comments, click on the feedback widget on the right side of the page or leave it here in this thread.

A bit of background:
Dennis works in IT doing DevOps as his day job but has also been running an award travel consulting service on the side for the last 11 years. During virtually every booking, clients typically ask whether the seats are lie-flat, inquire about the quality of the product, and seek advice on which seats to choose. So I would have to send pictures and videos of the cabin along with a link to SeatGuru, so we can jointly pick the best options. There should be an easier way to do this.

Antonio is a 3D design expert with a specialization in Automotive and Railway Seats. In addition to his primary work, he also teaches 3D CAD software and Technical Drafting.

Both of us are travel enthusiasts and are eager to make this concept a reality. Thank you
