I would say that overall T8 is a better experience than T7, there is a lot more space and more scope for good line management. The bit that isn't so good is the Global Entry side, with just 3 terminals and a less than perfect agent double-check process. It still only takes a few minutes.

But yes, what can you do about it? Move flights? Use another terminal? Get Congress to allocate more overtime payments?
