I had 2J FC seat booked on an LAX-HKG flight several years back. Had the seat assignment maybe 6 months before the flight. Morning of the flight, I'm moved to 1A.... Kind of strange but when I boarded they was an Extremely Important looking dude in 2J. Not sure what happened but obviously someone pulled their VIP card.
