As I type this tonight I have 287,019 MQMs. I have already earned a AMEX status boost of 15,000 that has not hit my account yet so that brings me to 302,019. Point taken from earlier posters that it is not clear how valuable Diamond really will be in the future. I do not anticipate much better upgrade success (right now I get about 25 of the time) but there are other benefits like club access in Europe, faster miles accruals, the Diamond support line, and so forth. Not sure if this approach gets me choice benefits each year but if it does several of the benefits also make this more attractive - if nothing else I can take the AMEX credits and recover the cost of the mileage run.

I may make Diamond for 2025 without this but it would be nice to have it in the bag for two years no matter what my travel plans actually look like.

So I think I am going to go for it. Any MSP'ers have good ideas for a MQM run worth doing in early December?
