The SQ flight I'm pretty sure costs more than the Scoot flight, so that calculation is apples and oranges. It's probably between 1.5 and 2 cpm for the SQ redemption, which is decent.
SQ flight is $203. If paying cash, I won't even consider SQ considering the price differential. It works out to about 1.6 cents per mile on AC, just okay, not bad, not great either. I think I''ll save my miles for Premium flights or Hyatt hotels (Chase points).
