But paypal is just a payment method that can be used to pay for anything. Why would a paypal bonus (as opposed to any other spend bonus, like my current effective 2.5x miles bonus on my AA CC) have an outsized effect at gc.com (as opposed to any other vendor who accepts paypal, which is basically everyone)
