Finnair
The Marimekko branded pouch is nice and has an afterlife as a pencil case, makeup bag etc. The Marimekko branded eye mask is large and feels comfortable on the face. There are earplugs and a dental kit, but that's it. Finnair is one of the very few airlines that do not offer any cosmetics in their longhaul amenity kits. There is hand cream in the lavatory, but if you need a moisturizer or lip balm, you're out of luck. Cabin crew can provide you with socks, mouthwash or a shaving kit on request.
Slippers are provided to all passengers and come in two sizes. L is large enough for shoe size 45-46. The slippers are made of recycled PET bottles.
SAS
Dux-branded pouch, with the stripe theme also seen on bed linens. Bag made of cotton, lined and padded, with a nice feel. It has a good afterlife too, while not as stylish as Finnair.
Eye-mask feels a bit thin at first sight, but in my trial it did block light well enough.
The humble company seems to be a new monopolist for in-air-dental-care

I guess the sustainability flair of the product sits well with airline managers. Skin products are appreciated. On this occasion I did not need lip-balm, but on days when you do, the dry air of flying is not helping. I did use the skin cream and felt younger than ever!
Honourable mention: Ear-plugs of excellent quality, compresses/uncompresses very well, killed noise very effectively and did not itch at all!
SAS did not provide slippers at seat (I didn't ask if there are on demand). I appreciate slippers are vital on asia-flights but for a US flight they might be less in demand.

By the way, speaking about toiletries it is worth mentioning that SAS reserves front toilet for staff. Meaning 32 J pax shares 2 toilets behind the galley by doors 2L/2R. It worked out on this day flight, but on the return which is a red-eye it is not enough and lines formed.
