A friend of mine is flying United to Hong Kong and then onward to Singapore on Scoot.
Any idea or experience in getting luggage checked all the way to Singapore? Any interline agreement between United and Scoot.

I have done UA/SQ interline baggage transfer before, but I understand Scoot is not the same as SQ.

If not interline agreement, then my friend has to pick up the luggage, enter HKG, recheck the bags at Scoot counter, then go through HK immigration to exit HK to take the flight.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
