My PR $95 annual fee posted a few weeks ago, so I applied for the Elite to get the 75,000 point SUB, transferred the points, and did a product change on the PR to a CCR. The rep said I would get a refund for the $95.
I think the new card bonus is about the only thing that interests me. I do not need the airline bonus since I already have a lot of airline miles, travel credit, travel banks and even some old airline gift cards that I like to unload. AmEx gets the 35% airline bonus on some card.
If BofA ever gives more relationship bonus to Diamond clients, I'll be happy to keep this card. Or I just use its cashback cards to get 5.25% cold cash.
Just do not want to open another point system since I already get enough with others. I believe the Wells Fargo may get something going.
