Another possible fix could be to have Hyatt CS de-link your AA and Hyatt accounts (website instructions say it has to be done with an agent-- either Hyatt's or AA's, but not both). And then re-link them a couple of days later. I also received this email yesterday, even though this offer has been available to me for a few weeks. I don't have any upcoming Hyatt stays until next month, so I'm waiting until then to sign-up in order to have stays in January "double-dip" so-to-speak.
