Decided to check out the two 'newer' lounges in T3 yesterday, namely both the BA and AA first class lounges. Went to the BA one first. Very peaceful and relaxing environment, nice selection of food at the buffet area, good selection of spirits at both ends of the lounge and overall a pleasant experience. After that went to check out the AA one - what a horrible space. Very bright and garish lighting, somewhat better champagne but other than that, limited choice of everything and what food they had was limited and extremely unappealing. There was no feeling of privacy , it was noisy and certainly not up to first class standard. Had my flight time not been soon I would have retreated back to BA. I enjoy the CX lounge but when visiting the Qantas one have found it rather cold feeling. So, unlike many on this forum, I shall make the BA lounge my first choice in T3.
