Just got this email from Hertz, even though I don't have any EV reservations coming up. Interesting that they dropped it to $25 for "any" charge level, versus the $35 + potential fee if returned with less than 10%. Also, agree with the above that it will be tough to return with the "exact" charge as it was at pick up, even if it's only 90%. The Polestar I rented was given to me at 90% but also had the max charge set to 90%. In order to return it at 90% or above I would need to know to change the settings to 100%, and then plan charging around getting to 100% and within then returning to the airport/location within that 10%. Hence why Hertz figures there's quite a bit of money to be made here because most people will just pay the $25 to not worry about that.
