3 GUC to still use up before end of January and agents are making it extremely hard to redeem on KLM as usual. If its a direct flight to AMS and it show more then 2+ available, the joint venture desk should be able to do it for you pretty easily.. You have to make sure the DL representative either transfers you to that desk or they call that desk to do it.. Yes, you would be on hold for awhile doing it, so maybe do some mindless task based things in the meantime so its not a complete loss of time to apply...
If it not a direct flight or if you are traveling onward to another stop after AMS, then you have to look at availability differently per all the posts in this thread....
