We previously announced on September 14 that Members would be able to earn MQDs on everyday bookings with Delta Car Rentals and Delta Stays. After listening to Member feedback and given the latest changes (including the newly reduced MQD thresholds), MQDs will not be offered for these bookings.
What if I already booked a Delta Car Rental and/or Delta Stay for 2024 travel?

I have three recently made 'pay-later' car/hotel bookings that will take place in January and February of next year. My question is, is this exemption applicable only to bookings that are prepaid or will my pay-later bookings earn MQDs?
This was a bad idea from the get-go. DL marketing hotel and car rental partners probably agreed, they preferred their members to booking via regular channel than third party websites. It's frequent stay and car rental members also preferred getting their hotel or car rental benefit than enhancing DL status.
So in all, DL found itself cornered and began removing the changes. Glad most everyone (partners and members) agreed.
