Very interesting experiences all. I was of the mind to redeem for the CSU but after reading these comments I may just take the 5k points and be done with it. 2 weeks out is not a long time and I don't have many stays (as Hyatt chase for Globalist takes most stays these days), and when I do I generally stay at Intercons in major cities (Boston, NYC, LA, SF) or at Intercons during very high traffic periods around events. Seems darn unlikely that the singular suite type they set aside is going to be avail 2 weeks prior. Perhaps I could get lucky at a Kimpton in NYC or LA over some less traveled weekend but with a 1 year expiry I may not chance losing it. Still have a month to decide, so we shall see.
