Reverse herringbone configurations in general are *not* set up to allow for that, so you have to pick between being able to reasonably easily talk to the other person by sitting on the same row in the middle section (where there is a divider that you can close or choose to leave open) or being able to physically reach them by sitting on different rows but on the same aisle, so that you don't have to walk around the galley to get to them.
I think your best bet is to sit right behind them so you can stand up and take a look.
