I agree that the "airport food" comment is of some concern perhaps. But I will say that I prefer to fly into JFK and experience its lounges' food offerings even if my trip has me traveling down to PHL before returning to SFO. Sure, the nonstops from SFO to PHL are available. But they tend to be not worth the price if I can get a nonstop into JFK and make my way down to PHL after visiting customers along the way as I make my way to/from the PHL metro area.

The PHL AA Clubs are a fail and very often crowded when I have arrived for my late afternoon nonstop flights back to SFO. The FS lounge(s) at PHL need to open ASAP. And the price points for flights inot/out of PHL tend to make me fly into/out of JFK even if I have business in the PHL area
