For most promotions the timeframe for the posting of the miles etc.is is usually longer than it actually takes - the airlines/hotels just want to give themselves more time in case a hiccup occurs. Or they are part of copy/paste boilerplate T&C and are not in any way related to how long it takes to implement something.
In this case, one would expect that they start processing applications as they come in, and it would be pretty fast for the first few and then slow down as things pile up. But given the lack of any reports of successful matches seems to indicate that this isn’t the process they have implemented. Instead they seem to have filed away all the status match applications for the time being and perhaps plan on processing them when Bob in the status match department returns from FMLA.
