Once approved and in the NLL domain, the “privileges” benefits and perks of AmEx plat cards are received and far less complicated to maintain. Certainly we don’t know when NLL offers might end and certainly having never received one it’s uncertain when and if one will be received. If not already an AmEx biz cardholder I suggest becoming one and putting (significant whatever that is) spend on that card. If already an AmEx biz cardholder I suggest putting (significant) spend on that card. Activity on existing AmEx biz cards seems to be an induction for NLL offers.
Why would you spend on Amex Biz card except in bonus categories? Many cards offer much better ROI than Amex Plat (exception: Amex 2 points/$1 for everyday spend on Amex Blue+).

As for the perks, I would tend to agree that the Biz card appears to have less of a coupon book approach than personal cards. But also less opportunity to recoup the AF absent spending on Indeed, Adobe or Dell.
