So for my premium economy flight LHR to Dubai, the footrest was broken and collapsed down to the floor and the seat would only move if considerable physical force was applied which was difficult for me to do with a bad back. I'd booked PE specifically for the better seat and the absence of a footrest meant it was impossible to find a comfortable sleeping position in what was a bulkhead seat. A complaint to BA yielded 5000 Avios compensation which seems derisory given the extra cost of PE over economy. What are my chances of getting BA to offer more do you think?
