Definitely possible. This probably won't change anything for me, but it likely would've benefitted AS to move things along as quickly as possible to get people switched and try to lock them in with positive experiences. It's impossible to know for sure, but it's likely that there are flyers who were eager to give AS a shot once they saw their new status, but the processing time on AS's side means they didn't receive that status before DL's announcement today that they're walking back medallion changes (pretty significantly in some ways for some people).

If you've got nothing booked on AS and find the revisions at DL appealing, you may not bother to change at all now - comparatively, B6's quick processing and perks like helicopter rides for those matching at Mosaic 4 mean that certain flyers already have moved dollars to B6 and will at least see if they think the grass is greener.
