Having said 2-4 weeks initially suggested that they'd be acting on matches as they're able to process them. Unless they had such a backlog of status match requests unrelated to this DL promotion that they couldn't transition to processing those DL requests at all, one would logically expect at least some would be getting processed by 3+ weeks into the promotion - and if they did have a huge backlog, offering 2 weeks out of the gate was foolish. Put another way, a huge response to the DL promotion would naturally be expected to prolong the processing, but it wouldn't make it so they haven't even started them yet.

If the landing page said the promotion would remain open until 10/31 and status will be updated after closure of the promotion, then the current situation would match expectations.
