Do you try to go to the login page from the "I have a pass" option, or just going to an aircanada.com page and then attempting to log on?

Latter features MFA while the former does not. Then if you don't answer to MFA a few times, yes you get locked out.

In other words, you *MUST* mot try loggin on from a regular aircanada.com page (which the wifi does allow to access without logging on). You *MUST* go to "I have a pass" and then select aeroplan. Which will led to a logging on page with no MFA.

So, seriously, don't complain about this. don't expect AC IT to be able to fix it... All about managing expectations I guess. :-)
I do not have Wifi Plan or anything like that. I just purchased a single flight internet pass from gogo. It all works well until I tried to log on to my Aeroplan account to check some bookings. Obviously AC believes the gogo IP position is dubious. Probably a perfect example of your left hand does not talk to your right hand ...
