Delta is eyeing the premium that TPAC flights are going for right now.

But what happens when government approval allows a significant number of Chinese airlines to start flying to Canada/USA again?

Earning status on DL used to be easy (as a non-US resident), flying dirt-cheap flights to SE Asia via PVG on China Eastern to get 100% MQMs. Does Delta not think the Chinese airlines are coming back in the mid-range future?
