Schengen - Temporary Reintroduction of Border Control

I am not quite sure where to put this so mods, feel free to move as necessary.

Some countries have temporarily reintroduced border controls intra-Scengen. I saw it in an Italian newspaper this morning as Italy has introduced controls at the Slovenian land border but it is in Italian so here is another source:

https://home-affairs.ec.europa.eu/po...der-control_en

The Schengen Borders Code (SBC) provides Member States with the capability of temporarily reintroducing border control at the internal borders in the event of a serious threat to public policy or internal security.
