My friend had a reservation at Marriott JFK for Oct 29-30 and got this email yesterday.

We will be happy to relocate your reservations to the brand-new Residence Inn JFK, located just yards away from the Marriott NY JFK. We will need you to please cancel your reservation at the Marriott NY JFK, and rebook directly with the Residence Inn NY JFK using the link below.
If the rate at the Residence Inn NY JFK is higher than the rate you booked at Marriott JFK, we will be happy to make a rate adjustment for you. Please send us your confirmation number and we will confirm once your rate has been adjusted.
When I look at the website, I see they aren't taking any reservations now until Dec 10. I have a reservation for end of Nov, so I expect I will also be relocated.
