Easily the finest hotel in northern Greece

Mrs Buckeye and I stayed here 12 days ago. Mrs Buckeye has family from the area. Great to meet them for the first time.

Hotel is as central in the city as you can get. You can walk to the water, white tower, university, tavernas, ouzeris, bougatsa shops

What really separated this hotel was the staff. You can tell this hotel is lead, not managed, well. People seem to enjoy each other’s company and it translates into how guests are treated. We felt like family.

SNAs for 3 night stay cleared 2 days prior to check in. Received executive suite which was quite nice.

Chose breakfast over points. Seriously, only a fool would choose points at these hotels in Europe. The breakfast was outstanding, buffet style, but they will make you anything if you ask. Had strapasada each morning, it’s worth it

Rooftop bar was very nice but a bit loud for the mid to upper 50’s crowd that we are. Also very nice bar on first floor

Bravo to the team here. Just a great family feel.
