I've only stayed at two Curio properties. I also travel with my own pillow just for consistency's sake... it makes a world of difference.
At Hotel Fraye in Nashville, the pillows were typical king-sized down pillows. Nothing remarkable.
At The Redmont in Birmingham, the pillows were square and, when two were laid side-by-side, barely covered half the width of the bed. There was also a 4-foot long sausage-shaped decorative pillow. Square pillows in hotels should be outlawed.
I do appreciate when hotels give you a selection of two different firmness pillows, and the firmness is indicated on the pillowcase.
