Good move from KLM. They're in an immunised metal-neutral joint venture with Delta (and AF and VS) across the Atlantic. KLM gets revenue (and pays costs) regardless of who flies those routes, so it's canny to let Delta do the bulk of that lifting, allowing KLM to deploy its own metal on other routes where it doesn't have to share the revenue.
