It's been very useful the last couple years but this year I may have around 60kgs total but the only options for the excess baggage under International Connecting Flights are 8kg, 15kg and 30kg, which is in addition to the allowed 15kg. So max of 45kgs total, which is great for anyone having 2x 23kgs allowed on many international flights.
But since I may have 2x 30kgs, does anyone know if there is a way to pay for more excess baggage or will I have to end up having to pay the airport fee for the extra 15kgs?
Any other suggestions on what the best reasonable option would be? I will be flying BOM-IDR. Only other airline is AI but that seems worse, even for J.
If you're in no hurry to get your bags you can try a service like
https://avaanexcess.com/. I have never tried them so I cannot vouch for them. They supposedly have a kiosk in DEL which would lend some credibility to their service.
