The CT scanners are appearing at more and more airports -- no one removes electronics from bags but the scanning process takes a multiple of the time that the current X-Ray takes (at airports running CT and X-Ray side by side I've seen rates as high as 5 X-Rayed bags for every 1 CT-ed bag, though that seems to be improving, CT is still an order of magnitude slower)--if anything CLEAR+PRE means you're less likely to encounter these bottlenecks

I can't remember the last time I took electronics out of my bag at a US airport (and every third international airport reminds me of how many electronics I'm walking around with...sigh... [If they want EVERY electronic device out of my bag why do they say 'large electronics like laptops and iPads']
