Venture X + Sapphire Preferred might be a good alternative.

The Venture X is (arguably) net zero AF. Put everyday non-category spend on it for the 2x. Use it for general Priority pass lounge access, CapitalOne lounge if you frequent DFW/IAD and cellphone insurance.
The Sapphire Preferred is $95 AF. Use it for travel bookings, it still offers a robust set of travel protection. You still earn Ultimate Rewards that are transferable to travel partners.
