No mention of LT status at check-in seems to be because they don't know. I've had this conversation several times (as recently as Friday with a very seasoned and knowledgeable agent) now with front desk agents and that all have said it only shows diamond status on the res when they pull it up. No indicator of LT. Seems like a major oversite. How can managers prioritize upgrades (if they want to) or whatever if they cant differentiate?
It depends on which operating system the property in question is using. Hilton is currently transitioning all properties away from there longtime PMS system OnQ to their new system PEP. In OnQ, if you are looking at the arrivals list, LTD doesn't exist. It's just B, S, G and D. There is a particular report which can be run which would show you if someone is LTD but IME, for the most part, that's not happening every shift-everyday-ever at all properties. In PEP, you can click the top left quadrant of the arrivals, departures or in house box and it shows you the breakdown of all guest levels from LTD to non-member all the time. In an obvious aside, don't assume that managers are the ones doing or not doing the upgrading on a day to day basis. Plenty of properties are run where the rank and file are doing as they see fit shift by shift.

Correct. There is no separate level of benefits, secret sauce or anything else.
