When BA started this in the business class cabins, that started costing them my business and they got a lower share of my travel dollars and they never got back the share they lost. I dislike the whole pay for the seat thing except extra legroom or space. I can totally understand seats that have extra space worth something. But paying for a seat just to be in the middle of the rear section of y cabin is just insane. It's crazy that UA has half a Y cabin as preferred or Y+ seats.
