HI there!
First time booking with Air NZ. Is there a way to view the complete fare rules for a domestic booking before paying? On the payment screen, I only see "flexiRefund" (V)" Does V correspond with the booking class?
For the route that I'm shopping, I see 3 fare basis codes for the V booking class on ExpertFlyer. Do they correspond with the fare flexibility? (ie flexiRefund for the most expensive fare basis code)
Example, for a route that I'm shopping:
Fare Basis Airline Booking Class Trip Type Fare Cabin Effective Date Expiration Date Min / Max Stay Adv Purchase Req
VBAG
NZ V One-Way 145.00(USD) E
VFXT
NZ V One-Way 156.00(USD) E
VFXP
NZ V One-Way 166.00(USD) E
Can I assume that "VFXP" is the fare that I'm looking at checkout? Just want to make sure that I am paying extra for a fare that is fully refundable back to original form of payment (and not a flight voucher) if I choose to cancel.
The full fare rules for VFXP has this text under cancellations, at least on ExpertFlyer, which seems to indicate that I can opt for a full refund back to my card:
CANCELLATIONS
CANCELLATIONS PERMITTED FOR CANCEL/NO-SHOW/REFUND.
