The Tournedos Rossini turned out to be pepper steak with foie, and I sorely missed the crouton, which I know sounds snobby but that soggy crispy bread is what I remember of the dish, so a little disappointed. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender and the potato and sauce good, just.. someone stole my bread!
It also came with a little bowl of charcoal bread, roll, and butter which maybe should have arrived earlier, or maybe they thought I fancied a steak sandwich, who knows.
The wine was very good, accompanied the steak perfectly.
Although “not hungry”, one of the deserts has caught my eye
